Photo from CBE 2006Many bio-science companies are failing to benefit from the range of opportunities on offer to them at the universities and research institutes in the East of England. This is partly due to a lack of understanding of what these opportunities are, how to identify the opportunities that are particularly relevant to you, and how to access them quickly and easily.

ERBI's 2nd Technology Showcase is a rare opportunity for you to meet representatives from the region's leading universities and research institutes, all under one roof, in one day. They will be on hand to discuss how you can interface with the academics and technicians they represent. They are keen to talk to both small and large companies, and emphasise that there are many different ways for companies to interact with their academic centres, ranging from sourcing technical services, to long term collaborative research. The key message is that they are “open for business”.

To give you a flavour of some of the research taking place at various departments in the region that has good commercial potential, the event will include presentations by research group leaders on a wide range of innovative technologies, products and services.

ERBI’s 2nd Technology Showcase is taking place on the third day of our annual BioPartnering Exchange at the Wellcome Trust Genome Campus at Hinxton. The event has been sponsored by FRAS. Attendance is open to everyone, not just the delegates registered for the BioPartnering Exchange, and is free of charge.
